The Village - Creative Healing Community was founded by Charmaine Johnson, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Career Counsellor who offers private counselling via CJCounselling. While Charmaine works with clients from all backgrounds, the majority of her clients identify as BIPOC and Charmaine approaches counselling from a holistic lens incorporating hypnosis and creative therapy while addressing the unique challenges faced by racialized individuals.
Growing up in Canada and having the opportunity to live in Africa and the Caribbean, Charmaine brings a unique perspective to understanding and healing Black Canadian's.
The Village - Creative Healing Community operates virtually from Richmond Hill, Ontario, extending its warm welcome to BIPOC individuals and their allies throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
